PDDM PERPETUAL RELIGIOUS PROFESSION – Cebu City

“How infinitely rich He is in grace.” This was the theme that summed up the experiences shared by the temporarily professed PDDM sisters during their reunion with Sr. M. Peter Evardone, Junior directress, at Alberione Oasis in Antipolo City last January 9, 2012.

Sr. M. Peter guided the young sisters to call to mind their journey in the light of Fr. James Alberione’s “Abundantes Divitiae Gratiae Suae”. Each one had generously shared an inimitable and grace-filled experience of God’s manifestation in each life’s journey.

The gathering that featured the junior sisters’ year-end ‘inventory of religious life’, was also a welcome occasion for our Srs. M. Geraldine and M. Kristine, who just arrived from Rome after taking the course in preparation for their perpetual profession. Fresh from their first-hand encounters with the roots of our congregation, our two sisters brought with them a renewed faith and strengthened conviction, thanking God for the gift of their Pauline-PDDM vocation.

Our sharing was even more enriched when Sr. M. Peter also opened her own treasure chest of experiences of God’s abiding grace.

The gathering culminated with Eucharistic adoration in which the sisters refilled their religious journey with the Divine Master’s unconditional love. At end of the gathering, each young sister sets off to their respective communities with hearts full of joy and holy inspiration because in this encounter, God truly revealed ‘how infinitely rich he is in grace.’
